Belly Fat Diet Tips

Belly fat is unsightly and it leaves people feeling insecure and self-conscious. This should never be the case because it is easy to get rid of belly fat. This can be achieved through an effective belly fat diet regimen.

For your belly fat diet, your meal plan should consist of fats, protein and vegetables. Sugar should be taken in small amounts as well as complex carbs. This means, processed foods with artificial or natural sweeteners should be avoided. As for beer, wine, dark chocolate and champagne, these are still okay.

If you are decided on going on a belly fat diet, you need to work on a meal plan you can use. This usually ranges from five to seven weeks. Though you will find many useful recipes online, the best ones are usually given by nutritionists and diet experts.

Here are belly fat burning foods to consider:

• Eggs – They are very high in protein. If you are worried about cholesterol, recent studies show that dietary cholesterol has very little effect on blood cholesterol. If you are still worried then take out the yolk and enjoy the rest of the egg. The Vit. B12 content of egg helps break down fat cells.

• Beans – They are very good sources of fiber, iron and protein. The best are: white beans, navy beans, lima beans and kidney beans. Though they can be associated with gastrointestinal issues, what you can do is to limit your intake of refried and baked beans. You also need to cook them thoroughly.
• Low fat dairy products – Studies show that women who eat low fat dairy products actually lose more fat as compared to those on a low-dairy diet.
• Oatmeal – It has great nutritional qualities. Aside from lowering cholesterol levels, its soluble fibers can reduce blood cholesterol by flushing out the bad digestive acids. The best to take are the unflavored and unsweetened brands. It also helps fight heart disease and colon cancer.
• Olive Oil – This is one of the good fats which is good for the body. They help burn fat and keep the cholesterol levels down.
• Lean Cuts of Meat – Aside from building the muscles, these can also boost the immune system. They are also good sources of protein. For tuna and salmon, they also have omega-3 fatty acids.
• Whole Grains – Carbohydrates is still essential to the body. If you take them out, your body will just want them more. Don't exclude them from your diet because they are also good for you. Just stay away from processed carbohydrates like bagels, pastas and white bread. Eat whole grain foods. They also have fiber and minerals.

When taking a belly fat diet regimen, you also need to drink water. At least 8 to 10 glasses a day will suffice. Try to stay away from skim milk and from 00% fresh fruit juice because they are known to bring about belly fat.
