Kit Yourself out in a Bowling Shirt

Bowling Shirts are men's shirts that (in terms of its construction) resembles an ‘Aloha Shirt' (commonly referred to as a Hawaiian Shirt that are most typically printed, have short sleeves and collars). However, bowling shirts differ from Aloha Shirts considerably in appearance as they are usually more conservatively designed and do not incorporate the tropical and floral themed prints that traditionally appear on Hawaiian shirts.

Although there has always been a demand for such items of clothing since the days of Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley and James Dean, it has been argued that Bowling Shirts have experienced an increase in popularity as a result of the popularity of the American T.V. Show ‘Two and a half men' in which Charlie Harper, the character played by Charlie Sheen, seems to wear such a garment in every episode.
